Full Tilt Review From A Poker Junky by Donnie Talley

I’m one of those poker players who needs to play at all times – day and night. I used to waste time by traveling to casinos, but that didn’t only cost a lot of time, but gas money as well. And don’t forget food. I’d much rather stay home and play at Full Tilt.

The reason I prefer Full Tilt over other online poker sites is the high stakes. This does lead to better competition – Full Tilt is known as the most competitive poker site in the world – but that’s going to happen when the stakes are higher. Full Tilt is kind of like the Bellagio in Las Vegas, only in this case, you don’t have to go on a waiting list or feel intimidated by famous faces.

The high stakes ring games are great, but I like the tournaments even better. Risking a little to win a fortune makes a lot of sense. I have even played with Chris Ferguson in a tournament once. He’s not the most aggressive player, so it was tough to extract chips from him. Actually, he got most of the chips at the table. I chose not to get involved when he was in the pot. This was a good decision because I ended up in the money. So did Chris Ferguson. He finished a little higher.

As far as the graphics and playability go, Full Tilt is at the top of the list. Microgaming software is the key to this. Of course, Full Tilt isn’t the only site that uses Microgaming software, but any online poker site worth their salt uses it. The speed of the hands are fast yet not too fast. The rake is fair. And the security is the best you’re going to find. Even the payouts are fast. I don’t have to wait when I want to withdraw money. Full Tilt has been my poker home for three years now and it will continue to be my online poker home forever.
